How It Works
Document Parser opens your files in the browser, extracts readable text locally, and lets you review or export the result for LLM and retrieval workflows.
Privacy
Document Parser is designed to process files on your device rather than sending them to an application server by default, which means that when you select a document or image, the file stays inside the browser session while the app extracts text and prepares it for review, copying, or download. We do not intentionally collect the contents of your files, the extracted text, or the OCR output produced during processing, although standard hosting infrastructure may still capture routine request metadata such as page visits or asset requests. If someone deploys a modified version of this app that adds analytics, APIs, storage, logging, or other external services, that deployment should clearly explain those changes because they would alter the privacy expectations described here.
Usage terms
Document Parser is provided as-is without warranties of any kind, and extraction quality can vary depending on scan quality, image clarity, document structure, language, handwriting, and OCR conditions. You are responsible for the files you process and for complying with any privacy, confidentiality, copyright, contractual, or security obligations that apply to those files and to the systems where their contents may eventually be used. If you plan to send extracted text into prompts, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, or production workflows, you should review the output carefully before relying on it, because even strong OCR and parsing tools can still introduce omissions, formatting loss, or recognition errors in difficult documents.
